I like this DepicT! short for its humour. it's made clear that its meant to be a comedy and it uses few and simple camera angles to make sure dialogue and visuals are the most important aspect and not fast moving actions that would call for quick and complex shots. The narrative is kept simple and direct as to not confuse audiences but allow them to fully understand what's happening, and the sound quality and editing are great.

Alex Jones is (Technically) a Human

This animation of Alex Jones, host of InfoWars, is an artistic and comedic animation loaded with vivid and bright imagery that appeals to the senses. As far as a narrative goes, it's just Alex jones telling the world he is a leader that spreads liberty using patriotic phrases like,"I've got the fire of human liberty, and I'm setting fires everywhere!". The animation itself is amazing and nothing is ever the same as it was the frame before which really adds life to the video.

Enough

This dramatic piece from 2008 is just as important now as it was then, Portraying the horrifying effects of knife crime. This short film is loaded with fast moving shots to match the quick actions throughout the short. The narrative is about the brutal harshness of reality, in which a man angry at a gang's activities attempts to stop it, but the film ends up with horrible consequences that match the  problems the public face daily on Britains streets. The ending also contains a revealing plot twist about a link between the man and the group of young boys.

The Rabbit Hole

This light-hearted comedy involves a man and his dog on a walk, when they encounter a tunnel that defies physics. The short film has no dialogue or diegetic sound, only an electronic composition which matches its sounds with the actions going on in the film. The music fits perfectly, and the different shots add to the amusement, really helping to make real the effects seen on screen and also disorient the senses of the viewer giving them a sense of immersion in line with what the characters are experiencing.

Schatzi (Darling)

This German comedy is simplistic yet enjoyable, and involves an unhappy couple waiting to have their family picture taken, it ends in an unexpected discovery and a happy escape for the father. The motivation of the photographer trying to make the baby smile in-between the arguing also makes for agitation for the couple, who wish for it to be over quickly. There are few angles as to allow the audience to focus on the back and forth between the pair rather than action, and the ending is reminiscent of British comedies within the same back and forth comedy style.
